This Sensi Touch 2 Smart Thermostat and Lite Thermostat Wallplate:

• Covers marks left by previous thermostat
• Common issues to cover include peeled paint, missing paint, faded paint, pencil/pen alignment marks, and screw holes. You may not see a problem until you remove the old thermostat.
• Can be used with or without the horizontal junction box (a box sometimes already in the wall which your old thermostat may be attached to)
